Crews Work to Put Out House Fire
GIRARD, PA - Shortly after 6:00 PM, calls came out for a reported structure fire. Crews arrived on scene and immediately called for additional support as they reported four outside walls were on fire. Cold temperatures made the battle tough as a three fire hydrants froze due to the cold temperatures. Multiple tanker trucks were called in to bring in additional water if needed.

Crews were still on scene as of 8:30 PM working to put out hotspots. It is unclear if the residents were on scene at the time of the fire.
